Power requirements
The 4.7 kW Compact runs on 400V three-phase NZ industrial power. For 230V single-phase workshops, the 3.8 kW Compact is the equivalent.
FAQs
Can I use this as a plastic welder?
No – hot-air blowers are designed for process heating with a wide air stream, not the precise focused air a welding rod needs. Use a hand-held plastic welder for welding work.
What’s the duty cycle?
The Compact 4.7 kW is rated for continuous duty in production environments. Designed for hours of run time without overheating.
Are heating elements user-replaceable?
Yes – replacement heating elements are stocked. Element life depends on duty cycle (typically 6-24 months under heavy continuous use).
