What’s the difference between premium and basic flooring kits?
The premium kit uses a higher-output welder (typically Triac S) for faster work and longer continuous-duty cycles. For low-volume work or learning, the standard flooring kit is more cost-effective.
Do I order the rod separately?
Yes. Flooring rod is colour-matched to the vinyl product and ordered to match each job. Browse PVC welding rod.
Will this kit weld safety vinyl flooring?
Yes. Safety vinyl, sheet vinyl and homogeneous PVC flooring all use the same hot air welding technique. The kit handles all of them.
