Why digital over analogue
The digital controller gives a temperature readout in degrees C and holds temperature with PID control. That matters most when switching between plastics (PP at 320C, PEMD at 300C, ABS at 350C) several times a day – you set the dial and trust the reading, rather than judging by feel. For one-plastic shops the analogue automotive kit is more cost-effective.

Can I weld a cracked bumper invisibly?
A welded repair won’t be invisible without paint. The weld itself is structural and clean, but bumper finishing (sand, fill, prime, paint) is needed for a show finish. For underside repairs and unpainted areas the weld alone is the finished result.
How long does a typical bumper repair take?
A standard bumper crack repair takes 15-25 minutes of welding plus paint prep time. Compared to ordering a replacement bumper, the cost saving is usually 60-80%.
