Where the Soron fits
The Soron sits in the affordable mid-range of the Techspan hot air blower line. Lower price than the Rion or Triac, with the trade-off of slightly less robust internals and a shorter expected duty cycle. For occasional and small-shop use it’s good value; for daily continuous use, step up to the Rion or Triac.

Is the Soron suitable for production work?
For light production and occasional daily work, yes. For continuous full-day production we recommend the Rion or Triac, which are rated for longer continuous-duty cycles.
Does it accept standard nozzles?
Yes. The Soron uses the standard nozzle interface common across the Techspan range, so speed nozzles, tacking nozzles and pressure nozzles are interchangeable with other Techspan models.
